Jody R Goode in Prayer

O, the glorious wonders of God's Holy Spirit communicating His endless Love and the depths of His Wisdom to my spirit.  I didn't want to leave that place - it must have been His Tabernacle.  It felt like home to me.  While I was there I visited other places by way of image and vision ...

... I laid down and died at His feet - after which He took my hand in His and brought me into new life.  It was the life of a warrior for He handed me my armor.  I was off to war able to advance on the enemy and protected not by my shield (of faith) which I firmly held before me but rather by Christ, Himself, for He caught bare-handed the darts/arrows shot my way.  There was awesome power in my steps of advancement and the power was found in Christ for it was by Him I stood where I was.  I have no fear.  I saw the warring host - giants compared to me - girded also in holy armor standing surefooted upon their foundation - Christ.  I watched as they slew the enemy who was rendered powerless in the presence of the Lord.  We were all anointed and sealed for the name of "JESUS" was written across our foreheads.

Further in prayer, I saw the boundaries within our world disappear and I prayed for humble servitude amongst the peoples.  I saw the world becoming dark with the light of Christ in individuals uniting to become the only (hope) light available to the suffering population ...

Words cannot possibly express the scope of this journey in prayer.

I concluded my prayer by telling Jesus I deeply desired to be where He was but was content in knowing that He would remain with me where I was until the appointed time.

Praise be to You - my Holy, Awesome Lord!

I LOVE YOU!  XXXO  Jody
