Jesus, are You there?

Jody R Goode in The Truth Explained

The Lord awakened me from a dream to speak with me this morning ...

In my dream I was in a dark cave with a group of other people and my mother had given me a piece of rock - round in shape; light brown in color; the top of the rock shiny and smooth; the edges and bottom rough as if it had been cut out of a bigger rock. I placed this rock on top of a boulder within the cave.

I then heard a voice cry out, "Jesus, are You there?" I was no longer dreaming, but the vision continued. The darkness of the cave became light as in a scene from a movie using stop-gap photography quickly transitioning you from the darkness of night to the light of dawn. A Voice from Heaven answered the cry, "Servant of God, here am I". I instantly thought of the prophet Samuel when the Lord called to him as a child in his master's home and eventually he understood that it was the Lord calling and as instructed by his master, his reply was, "Lord, here am I." But this was in reverse; Lord please explain ...

I wanted to know who was crying out and I was deeply humbled when I realized that it was the stone crying out. I remember thinking how sad it was that a person was not crying for the presence of the Lord but scripture has taught that if we do not praise the Lord, indeed the stones will cry out. (Luke 19:40 NAS)

Could it be that You are telling me, Lord, that as You search the world over You will not find even one who is faithful?

The Lord proceeded to teach by reminding me of something we had spoken of years ago.

Following is a journal entry of mine from December 19, 1995 that I will use to explain ...

"I woke up with the words 'we shall rebuild with smooth stones.' (Scripture reference - Isaiah 9:10 The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with smooth stones.)

There goes that stone theme again! Explain, Lord.

'The bricks have fallen down' - >the 'bricks' are hewn by human hand which signifies the man-made churches/denominations built upon human ambition and selfish agenda, but not the Bride, not the true Church of God.

'we will rebuild with smooth stones' - > the 'smooth stones' are those found in creation that have been tested and tried by the processes of life in nature still standing but stripped of the rough edges; tempered; strong. Where righteousness has been produced. We will find that those who are identified as the remnant faithful are the smooth stones with whom we shall rebuild. According to Isaiah 28:16 we find that Christ is the Chief (smooth) corner stone - the firm foundation of the temple which is found in the hearts of His people."

The Lord had further explained to me years ago that the remnant faithful of His Church, the bond-servants called to bring in the harvest, will be drawn from all the (denomi)nations - a collage of hearts seeking the very Heart of God. 'Looking' at the rock from my dream brought clarity to this experience. A smooth stone cut from a larger rock - or (denomi)nation - to be used in the rebuilding of The Church along with all of the other stones called to the same mission. So it was one of the remnant faithful, or maybe even the entire fold, calling out of the present darkness of these days to the Lord crying for affirmation of faith and vision. The Lord turned the darkness into His Light and offered His assurance that indeed He is present and available as He promised in His Word proclaiming, 'I am with you always, even to the end of the age' (Matt 28:20 NAS).

I was REALLY awake now and the Lord was not finished ...

The image of a warrior dressed in complete and holy armor is what I 'saw' next and the Lord proclaimed that 'It is time; be prepared to march into battle.' It is no wonder that the remnant faithful must be 'tested and tried by the processes of life in nature still standing but stripped of the rough edges; tempered; strong. Where righteousness has been produced.' His faith must be firm and his focus true and steady upon the Lord for whom he will selflessly serve and labor to bring in the harvest, because it is going to be harsh, bitter spiritual warfare as the enemy of our souls fights to the bitter end for every heart he can snatch before he meets his firey end. Has your life and faith been tested lately? Are you ready to march into battle?

The Lord was done for now; I'm sure more would have been too much. I do believe with all my heart that a wake-up call is being sounded and instead of hitting the snooze button, let us all instead be faithful in arduous prayer for strength, faith and guidance in our service to our King.

'Jesus, are You there?' 'Servant of God, here am I.' Words of comfort if I ever heard them as we get dressed in His Holy armor preparing to march into battle for the souls of men. Blessings in Christ to all!

My dream / vision explained to me in Scripture .....

Daniel 2

1 Now in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was troubled and his sleep left him.
2 Then the king gave orders to call in the magicians, the conjurers, the sorcerers and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

16 So Daniel went in and requested of the king that he would give him time, in order that he might declare the interpretation to the king.

19 Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven;
    20 Daniel said,
         "Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever,
         For wisdom and power belong to Him.
    21 "It is He who changes the times and the epochs;
         He removes kings and establishes kings;
         He gives wisdom to wise men
         And knowledge to men of understanding.
    22 "It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;
         He knows what is in the darkness,
         And the light dwells with Him.

    23 "To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
         For You have given me wisdom and power;
         Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
         For You have made known to us the king's matter."

28 "However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed.

 29 "As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals mysteries has made known to you what will take place.

 30 "But as for me, this mystery has not been revealed to me for any wisdom residing in me more than in any other living man, but for the purpose of making the interpretation known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.

[The King's Dream]
 31 "You, O king, were looking and behold, there was a single great statue; that statue, which was large and of extraordinary splendor, was standing in front of you, and its appearance was awesome.

 32 "The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze,

 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.

 34 "You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them.

 35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

 44 "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.
 45 "Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will take place in the future; so the dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy."

Isaiah 52

6 "Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, 'Here I am.'"
    7 How lovely on the mountains
         Are the feet of him who brings good news,
         Who announces peace
         And brings good news of happiness,
         Who announces salvation,
         And says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
    8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices,
         They shout joyfully together;
         For they will see with their own eyes
         When the LORD restores Zion.
    9 Break forth, shout joyfully together,
         You waste places of Jerusalem;
         For the LORD has comforted His people,
         He has redeemed Jerusalem.
    10 The LORD has bared His holy arm
         In the sight of all the nations,
         That all the ends of the earth may see
         The salvation of our God.
    11 Depart, depart, go out from there,
         Touch nothing unclean;
         Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves,
         You who carry the vessels of the LORD.
    12 But you will not go out in haste,
         Nor will you go as fugitives;
         For the LORD will go before you,
         And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

...  I believe we are now living 'in that day' as revealed to King Nebuchadnezzar to be 'what would take place in the future'.
