THAT CLOUDY DAY

I'm praying for that cloudy day
When knees will bend,
Tongues confess
And all eyes witness
The coming of our King of Glory
With power, upon the clouds

Once upon a time, He laid His glory down
Born to us a babe so meek and mild
Constrained to walk and talk and live among us
To show us the Way of Life beneath a thorny crown

He left this world much the way in which He came ...
He breathed and then He breathed no more
Bringing joy to some and grief to others
All to the foolishness of man's own wisdom

Between that first and final breath,
He taught us why He came -
Who He was and Who He's always been

'I came that you might have Life abundant'
'I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life'
'I AM the First, the Last, the Living One'
'I AM the One Who was and is and is to come'

Who could understand that Life can be gained
Only by death in loving sacrifice,
Though that was His mission?

Foretold that where He must go,
He must go alone and there we could not yet follow,
He left us to remember His Words of Promise
To return for us one day,
Not as a babe
But as our King Triumphant
In all the power and glory of Heaven

'I know you and you know Me;
Though for a time your eyes shall not behold Me,
I will be forever with you in your heart

Live each day by Faith,
Trust in the Hope of glory to come,
Live My Love before each and every one

Then look to the skies
For that cloudy day
When all will see and know
That I AM GOD'

Scripture Path ... (NAS)

Romans 14:11
For it is written,
"AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD."

Phil 2:10-11
so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 1:7
BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Philippians 2:5-8
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.  Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

John 16:20
"Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.

I Corinthians 1:18
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

John 10:10
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Revelation 1:17-18
When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Revelation 4:8
And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME."

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:17-18
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.  So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.

John 13:36
Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, where are You going?" Jesus answered, " Where I go, you cannot follow Me now; but you will follow later."

John 14:3
"If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

Acts 1:9-11
And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.  And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."

Matthew 24:30
"And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.

John 10:26-28
"But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.  "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

Luke 13:35
"Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ' BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'"

Ephesians 3:14-19
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

John 14:16
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;

1 Corinthians 13:13
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

John 13:19
"From now on I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am He.
