BY DEEPEST LOVE

Jody R Goode in Awe, Inspirations of our Awesome God, honor, love, praise, sacrifice, wonder
Here I sit, gazing through the veil as far as my heart would dare
Eyes looking inward and upward in solemn care
Who are You?
Where are You?
My spirit needs to know
Just then, I feel Your Spirit gently blow

Swept up in firm embrace
Have I ever known such grace?
There is safety upon Your wing
Loving refuge to which I cling

Through open veil, torn top to bottom by deepest love,
We soar together throughout the great heavens above
Swiftly higher,
Beyond my heart's greatest desire

Far from the muck and mire, thorn and briar,
All cares of earth fade, seeming so much less dire
You bring remembrance of body and blood, bread and wine
When the Son proclaimed, "you are Mine!"

And then I see the Son, before the Father, down on His knees
He speaks my name, the reason for His pleas
He looks up, our gazes lock right then and there
Those eyes! That smile! My heart has been stripped bare!

With that one look, His love moves in
Filling every crevice, leaving no more room for sin
Never forget, I am with you always
Never alone, for all your days

So, here I sit, gazing through the veil
Torn top to bottom by deepest love that will not fail
Who are You? To that You answered, "I AM what I AM"
I believe You are just who You claim
Where are You? You are in my heart
From there, by promise, You'll never part

I need no further proof or sign
My spirit knows, I am Yours, and You are mine
Saved from above
By deepest love

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
-Jeremiah 29:13 NASB
