David Michael Norell
1979-2004

Oh the thrill of the race
Exhilaration coursing through my soul
A heart after God's own Heart

To seek, to find
Chasing the bow in the sky
A promise kept by Him who put it there

My heart pounding hard upon the path
Anticipation rising fast within me
Like mercury measuring the heat of each day

That day I left I was racing Home
My heart not skipping even one beat
One beat there
The next one here

My race is done
I know I've won
What a blast
I'm Home at last
I'll see you when you get here!
